Fuat Bayraktaroğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Luzea in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute Bogumil Pochorylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşkın Özgunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Pochorylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fuat Bayraktaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Bennet in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bumin Kağan got free with Fuat Bayraktaroğlu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Pochorylo in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Pochorylo in the 29th minute of play forced Soulfly F.C.'s goalkeeper Aşkın Özgunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Pochorylo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aşkın Özgunes having to make a save. Bogumil Pochorylo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşkın Özgunes. Aşkın Özgunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aşkın Özgunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Pochorylo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Soulfly F.C. made a substitution. Vatan Şirzat replaced Ayberk Türkoğlu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erling Bennet was the one to do the kick off. Bogumil Pochorylo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aşkın Özgunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogumil Pochorylo ran back to his position shaking his head. Aşkın Özgunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Pochorylo in the 52nd minute of play. Lions Of Turks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Cidro in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Bumin Kağan made a precise shot to the right of Fuat Bayraktaroğlu. Lions Of Turks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Bogumil Pochorylo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aşkın Özgunes was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Bogumil Pochorylo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions Of Turks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With an all-out effort, Lions Of Turks's Aşkın Özgunes threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bogumil Pochorylo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, Bogumil Pochorylo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aşkın Özgunes. Soulfly F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogumil Pochorylo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 81st minute, Bogumil Pochorylo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions Of Turks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. 84 minutes into the game, Lions Of Turks's Bogumil Pochorylo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aşkın Özgunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Soulfly F.C.'s Herve de Neuyter got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Pochorylo in the 89th minute of play forced Soulfly F.C.'s goalkeeper Aşkın Özgunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aşkın Atik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aşkın Özgunes. That made the score 1-8 in the 90 minute of play. The Lions Of Turks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lions Of Turks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
