The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Anga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alican İçten came free, but Nicolas Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Javi Amato came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Anga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javi Amato couldn't finish the play. Tao Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Eufemio in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Miguel Campos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Blanco was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Tao Xi made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Apolo Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. Elias Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Apolo Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Eufemio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Anga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Emeterio came free, but Nicolas Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nicolas Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Diego Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Blanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alican İçten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Blanco having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Alican İçten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Blanco. Anga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alican İçten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Eufemio made a kick off. Nicolas Blanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alican İçten in the 53rd minute. Nicolas Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Alican İçten took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Blanco. Nicolas Blanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 61 minutes into the game, Alican İçten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Blanco. Alican İçten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 67th minute, Flames FC's Alican İçten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolas Blanco. Nicolas Blanco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. The supporters of Flames FC booed when Anga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazaro Guedeja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flames FC made a substitution. Echedey Lyon replaced Ture Gustafsson. Flames FC's Camille Trudeau was substituted for Miguel Campos. In the 71st minute, Lazaro Guedeja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Blanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alican İçten in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alican İçten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Blanco. That made the score 1-7 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Diego Lopes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicolas Blanco. The goal made the score 1-8. 82 minutes into the match, Camille Trudeau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Blanco. Anga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Trudeau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Tao Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Pereira in the 91st minute of play. Anga FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Pereira in the 92nd minute. After 96 minutes, Apolo Eufemio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anga FC and the Flames FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Flames FC played a much better game than Anga FC and deserved their victory. The Anga FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
