The corner ended in Léon Sureau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner did a great save. The audience was convinced that Abraham Beauval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannes Dresdner was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Hannes Dresdner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Les Pionniers de Touraine got a corner. Black Dragons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Léon Sureau ran over to the corner to take the kick. 15 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen came free, but Tanek Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Beauval took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hannes Dresdner. Hannes Dresdner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Abraham Beauval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannes Dresdner was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Tanek Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephane Pfiffer in the 24th minute of the match. Abraham Beauval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannes Dresdner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Abraham Beauval notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner. Hannes Dresdner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Beauval in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Dresdner saved Black Dragons from getting behind. Abraham Beauval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hannes Dresdner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Beauval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Abraham Beauval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Dresdner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Williams hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Les Pionniers de Touraine were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Abraham Beauval notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner. Hannes Dresdner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Beauval in the 58th minute of play forced Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Hannes Dresdner saved Black Dragons from getting behind. Hannes Dresdner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hervé Malaise showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 65 minute of play. In the 67th minute of the game, Désiré Alberto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Jolan Baudrand was substituted for Désiré Alberto. A well-hit corner resulted in Abraham Beauval heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Hervé Malaise came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Les Pionniers de Touraine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hervé Malaise couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Hervé Malaise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Hervé Malaise dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hannes Dresdner, 0-7. Hannes Dresdner made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Hervé Malaise sent off a good shot on target. Black Dragons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Hervé Malaise scored to the left of an out of position Hannes Dresdner, making the score, 0-8. The Black Dragons fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Les Pionniers de Touraine were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
