Vivien Canale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vivien Canale. Vivien Canale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Dário Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Club Deportivo Águila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Diniz couldn't finish the play. The Stade Ygossais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivien Canale should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Deportivo Águila fully deserved thier win.
