Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário Diniz to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the match Kind of Blue got a corner. Club Deportivo Águila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joacim Hansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Hansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle got control of the ball when Herminio Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Baltazar Oporto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Joacim Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kind of Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Joacim Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kind of Blue were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Deportivo Águila for a fine match.
