Juan Manuel Cruz took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ioan Voicu. Ioan Voicu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Cruz in the 11th minute of play. Gaston Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Leo Henric made a huge save. Emmanuel Ungbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Azulgranas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Ungbo came free, but Leo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Azulgranas AFC's Juan Manuel Cruz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ioan Voicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Leo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Leo Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cristiano Correia hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
