Luciano Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Beremundo in the 16th minute of play. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them. Pedrão Paranaense's late challenge caught a Azulgranas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Pedrão Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Manuel Cruz scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Sydney Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azulgranas AFC the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Floripa Lions FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Martins to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Cruz came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Erik Schmidt in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent. Evaristo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Naskrent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Floripa Lions FSCMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luciano Batista hit a great ball. Evaristo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Beremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Flavio Beremundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Siqueira was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Azulgranas AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luciano Batista made the kick off in the second half. Radomir Naskrent's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evaristo Siqueira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juan Manuel Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Prestes made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Raúl Guimarães immediately put the ball in play. If Juan Manuel Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the game, Mateo Transito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evaristo Siqueira. Mateo Transito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Hélder Prestes made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raúl Guimarães however managed to control. Michaël Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Juan Manuel Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Manuel Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Siqueira having to interfere. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Azulgranas AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
