In the 10th minute Alessandro Del Piero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicholas Ochavarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 18th minute of the match. Nicholas Ochavarri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Maurycy, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Julian Kosakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristiano Ubriaco made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ORIZABA F.C.'s Fausto Beattie. Nicholas Ochavarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 28th minute of play. Nicholas Ochavarri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyprian Oliszewski's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With his leg Oliver Kan managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's David Trezeguet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristiano Ubriaco made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ORIZABA F.C.'s Jaroslaw Maurycy. Oliver Kan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gombal Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslaw Maurycy got free with Nicholas Ochavarri in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ORIZABA F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ORIZABA F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
