Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sergiu Coșeriu kicked off to start the match. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 3rd minute of play. Mihai Oniga got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Virgil Şimonca. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Oniga. Fulvio Vittorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigel Tilea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulvio Vittorio ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Mihai Oniga with Dumitru Pantelimon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mei Wei Xuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Palma during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when La France FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Omar Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal and Omar Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Academia Rio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La France FC were winning 0-1.

La France FC's Francisco Gutierrez was substituted for Omar Palma. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulvio Vittorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Fulvio Vittorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, La France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Coșeriu came free, but Olle Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olle Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Coșeriu's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Gigel Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Wei Xuan in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Francisco Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal and Francisco Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olle Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 69th minute of the match. Academia Rio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Fulvio Vittorio scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Tilea, making the score, 0-2. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Vittorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to La France FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mei Wei Xuan hit a great ball. Mei Wei Xuan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as La France FC's Luis Vázquez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigel Tilea. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. Academia Rio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Luis Vázquez scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Tilea, making the score, 0-4. The throw-in from Nicolae Hizo in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La France FC's Atilio De la Cuadra. Gigel Tilea was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Luis Vázquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Vázquez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The La France FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La France FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
