The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Mårtensson came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when BV Borussia Hammarby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juanpi Uchiha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Victor Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Asteguieta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 15th minute Orvar Kihlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV defense, Karl Springfält kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dinu Oardă. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dinu Oardă should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Springfält in the 38th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jairo Asteguieta managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edwin 雷岩 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Lucila made a kick off. 洪浩飞 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dinu Oardă came out and tried to block the shot, but 洪浩飞 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 55th minute. Karl Springfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. A collision led to BV Borussia Hammarby getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Anders Örtlund hit a great ball. BV Borussia Hammarby's Quincy Qvalfeldt was substituted for Karl Springfält. In the 62nd minute, Anders Örtlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicklas Forsell hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV defense, 洪浩飞 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dinu Oardă. But to his dismay, Orvar Kihlman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 洪浩飞 made a great header on BV Borussia Hammarby's corner, it was just that MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă managed to reach the ball for a save. 洪浩飞 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dinu Oardă came out and tried to block the shot, but 洪浩飞 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute 洪浩飞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BV Borussia Hammarby's Quincy Qvalfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, BV Borussia Hammarby's Dinu Oardă threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orvar Kihlman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. BV Borussia Hammarby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
