In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natalio Centenales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Eduardo Baiano made a huge save. João Paulo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinz Stalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano got control of the ball when Natalio Centenales tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Jaime Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Yuri Valadares hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Geovanni Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Heinz Stalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Natalio Centenales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Baiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Centenales showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Jorginho Valle hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Paulo Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Família Ressaca MZ's Geovanni Baptista in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eduardo Baiano came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Família Ressaca MZ's Natalio Centenales. But to his dismay, Natalio Centenales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 58 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heinz Stalder. 63 minutes into the game, Randy Doty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Família Ressaca MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Gala the free kick. Randy Doty hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Baptista in the 78th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Natalio Centenales made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Baiano. Inter Gala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Inter Gala made a substitution. Gustavo Salles replaced Edgar Souto. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Centenales in the 90th minute of play.
