To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Arne Håkansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Manúel Bento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cyprian Sitko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Manúel Bento made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Commander Crowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Sitko to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Kristóf Földes made the kick off in the second half. Manúel Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Sitko in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Dogelo's Justino Dabi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Justino Dabi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dogelo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Justino Dabi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Justino Dabi hit a great ball.
