Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dündar Ülkenur got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by 史挺南. Sergio Goicoechea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dündar Ülkenur's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute of the match Los Tatangelos got a corner. GRÊMIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Göktürk Bozlak ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 8th match minute, GRÊMIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史挺南 to maneuver through the defense. GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Aleixo in the 11th minute of play. 史挺南 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dündar Ülkenur in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Goicoechea saved GRÊMIO from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Figueiredo came free, but Sergio Goicoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Goicoechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Goicoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Figueiredo in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GRÊMIO's zone, Dündar Ülkenur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Goicoechea came out of the goal and Dündar Ülkenur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Gürbüz Hendekli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Goicoechea. GRÊMIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gürbüz Hendekli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 史挺南 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dündar Ülkenur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Goicoechea having to interfere. Abel Pirani hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, GRÊMIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vacib Bartu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergio Goicoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dündar Ülkenur, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Dündar Ülkenur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Sergio Goicoechea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dündar Ülkenur sped through GRÊMIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sergio Goicoechea. Sergio Goicoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürbüz Hendekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Xavier came free, but Vacib Bartu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Tatangelos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GRÊMIO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Tatangelos's Adérito Aleixo got a free kick in the 87th minute. With his leg Sergio Goicoechea managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Los Tatangelos's Jorge Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silvério Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Los Tatangelos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Tatangelos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
