Dorukhan Özender was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Tatangelos's players had a chance to rest. Delfim Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Yağızalp Özerkmen made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Arif Nihat Torgay made a precise shot to the right of Claudio-Paul Taffarel. Inter de Melão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Valladares in the 92nd minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Yağızalp Özerkmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Tatangelos's Arif Nihat Torgay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio-Paul Taffarel. That made the score 0-7 after 94 minutes of play. Los Tatangelos played a much better game than Inter de Melão and deserved their victory. The Inter de Melão players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
