In the 16th minute Fotis Katramados shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franciszek Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo do Valle in the 21st minute of play. Mieszko Karanowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wawrzyniec Majorski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Franciszek Lerych was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murillo do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 50th minute of the game. One of Marzagão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Dwa Do Ósmej:s goal. The referee gave FC Dwa Do Ósmej a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Radomir Anszczak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski. 4-1. Fotis Katramados might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mieszko Karanowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fotis Katramados ran back to his position shaking his head. Mieszko Karanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Katramados, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marzagão had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
