After 14 minutes Marzagão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Åke Ekelund who took care of the corner kick. Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Santiago in the 21st minute of play. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Lundkvist in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Marzagão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Åke Ekelund who took care of the corner kick. Eleven Nation Army's Freddy Bizi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mieszko Karanowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 33 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Santiago came free, but Qian Xing Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Domingos Santiago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qian Xing Wei was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 45th minute Helge Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliviero Vuelta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Qian Xing Wei made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helge Brun to make the kick off. Mieszko Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Ekelund in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes of play, Eleven Nation Army's Åke Ekelund made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Karanowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingos Santiago took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qian Xing Wei. Qian Xing Wei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Umberto Antunes got a free kick in the 57th minute. A hard shot by Alexander Vedholm from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Mieszko Karanowski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 61st minute, Oliviero Vuelta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marzagão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 80thth minute of the game Domingos Santiago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Brun to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goalkeeper Mieszko Karanowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helge Brun. Mieszko Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Brun in the 83rd minute. When Domingos Santiago came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Santiago couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Eleven Nation Army getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Åke Ekelund hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
