Hallands Riviera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo Leste F.C. the free kick. After 35 played minutes Hallands Riviera got a freekick which was hit by Valter Berglund. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Berglund in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Valter Berglund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão. Emerson Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
