A nice corner shot did that Erik Stor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emerson Leão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Marinho in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes São Paulo Leste F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Stor who took care of the corner kick. Charlie Sjögren was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Marinho in the 42nd minute of play forced São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Marinho was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Marinho scored 4-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 minutes of play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Marinho took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Leão. Emerson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. The supporters of São Paulo Leste F.C. booed when FC ICEWIND DALE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeki Canver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 minutes of play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC ICEWIND DALE's Patryk Ranowiecki was substituted for Fernando Marinho. Patryk Ranowiecki struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Emerson Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ICEWIND DALE. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Ranowiecki in the 91st minute of play. Patryk Ranowiecki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Leão having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Patryk Ranowiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Patryk Ranowiecki made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Leão. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the São Paulo Leste F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC ICEWIND DALE.
