When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Jose Policarpio sped through Vasco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franklin Bittencourt. Jose Policarpio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alarico Trinidad kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aan 典韦 made a kick off. Raphael Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marc-André Grifoll made a huge save. After some careless play in the Vasco FC defense, Jose Policarpio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Bittencourt. The Vasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Bittencourt should have stopped the shot. Aan 典韦 kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The corner led La Mora CAT's Severino Coutinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Franklin Bittencourt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matheus Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Marc-André Grifoll made a huge save. Vasco FC made a substitution. Walter Lando replaced Matheus Amaral. In the 70th minute Vasco FC were awarded a corner. Wanderson Urbano went to the cornerflag to take it. Vasco FC's 陆朋超 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marc-André Grifoll in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Aan 典韦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
