Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mar Cheze in the 16th minute of play. Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 21st minute of play. Yuriy Babushkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 40th minute of the match Hexo Utd got a corner. Deportivo Messina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mar Cheze ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Adolfo Brandão to score against Yuriy Babushkin in Deportivo Messina's goal. 0-1 after 40 minutes. Mar Cheze hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Deportivo Messina made a substitution. Jonathan Guillerme replaced Paulino Vellito. Mar Cheze kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulius Rožėnas to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulius Rožėnas in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Babushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Ascencio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Deportivo Messina booed when Hexo Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulius Rožėnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Paulius Rožėnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulius Rožėnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Babushkin having to interfere. A collision led to Hexo Utd getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mar Cheze hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Paulius Rožėnas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Yuriy Babushkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuriy Babushkin stood somewhat misplaced when Paulius Rožėnas came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 98 minute. The Deportivo Messina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hexo Utd's performance. The match ended with a win for Hexo Utd.
