With his leg Severo Elequemedo managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Three Lions FC's Gunnar Ekeroth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gunnar Ekeroth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Severo Elequemedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 10 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Ruhi Ongay. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Messi in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, George Maldini threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Ildefonso Aritza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 17 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Ekeroth. Rollo Kildemose hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Three Lions FC's zone, Lucas Alario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Buffon came out of the goal and Lucas Alario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alario in the 26th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Severo Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Alario came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Elequemedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Messi in the 37th minute. Severo Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Messi in the 44th minute of play. Leon Tono charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When George Messi came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Three Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Messi couldn't finish the play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Messi to make the kick off. After some careless play in the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell defense, George Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Elequemedo. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Elequemedo should have stopped the shot. George Mbappè kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, George Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Elequemedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 71st minute Lucas Alario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anier Pereyra was slow to take the kick. During this time A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's players had a chance to rest. In the 76th minute Gunnar Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Messi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severo Elequemedo having to make a save. After 85 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Rollo Kildemose. In the 91st match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Messi to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Lucas Alario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 97 minutes, George Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Three Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Three Lions FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
