In the 4th minute Snorre Snabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Aritza hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. On his own Niklas Lindfors managed to get through A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's defense and was going for a shot in the net, but Severo Elequemedo lunged to the right and managed in the last second get hold of the ball before it was to late. With a little luck, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo got control of the ball when Emil Trulsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Torbjörn Hägglund scored to the left of an out of position Severo Elequemedo, making the score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Torbjörn Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Gladdarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Hägglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludvig Vennerlund made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Marin Mascovescu. Torbjörn Hägglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Elequemedo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves David Arenstedt could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Severo Elequemedo however easily saved by the left post. 39 minutes into the game, Lucas Alario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Emanuel Björkdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

IFK Gladdarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niklas Lindfors in the 56th minute. IFK Gladdarna's Niklas Lindfors was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severo Elequemedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emil Trulsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Elequemedo having to interfere. IFK Gladdarna's Emanuel Björkdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save IFK Gladdarna from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Trulsson in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Elequemedo saved A.D Atlético Villa Gesell from getting behind. If Mattias Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Alario in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Lucas Alario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuel Björkdahl. Lucas Alario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Severo Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Busk in the 78th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Alario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Björkdahl. That made the score 2-4 in the 80 minute of play. Severo Elequemedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Busk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute IFK Gladdarna were awarded a corner. Niklas Lindfors went to the cornerflag to take it. Jakob Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Severo Elequemedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Koch's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The IFK Gladdarna fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when IFK Gladdarna's Jakob Koch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
