An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Amaral in the 3rd minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save A.D Atlético Villa Gesell from getting a goal against them. Tião Amaral made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Severo Elequemedo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Garcia Osuna might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Elequemedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garcia Osuna ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo got control of the ball when Tião Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severo Elequemedo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tião Amaral sent off a good shot on target. After 26 minutes, Adolfo Millano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell and the Muget players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 minutes of play, Muget's Florin Stancu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Elequemedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ernest Mazilu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Amaral got free with Severo Elequemedo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo got control of the ball when Florin Stancu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernest Mazilu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Severo Elequemedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tião Amaral in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Santos Borré to make the kick off. In the 74th minute Florin Stancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Rafael Santos Borré managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
