Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tracy Shah in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Chap in the 23rd minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute ForestFire were awarded a corner. Ben Gilliam went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 28th minute Tracy Shah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nunez Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaki Conn having to interfere. Dante Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. David Isusko hit a great ball. Ben Gilliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Lázaro Chap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mainumby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ForestFire the free kick. Lázaro Chap hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Mainumby's Victor Gelmiro was substituted for David Isusko. After 49 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Chap. The Mainumby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ForestFire were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Navarro was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, ForestFire's Guaberto Cucao threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ben Gilliam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Mainumby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ForestFire were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
