Lucas Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ladislao Serafo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shaki Conn having to make a save. After 5 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Serafo. ForestFire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luisito James in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Lucas Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Navarro in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match ForestFire got a corner. Mainumby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisito James ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucas Navarro made a great header on ForestFire's corner, it was just that Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao managed to reach the ball for a save. Guaberto Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tracy Shah in the 27th minute. Lucas Navarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by ForestFire's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Estavan was slow to take the kick. During this time Mainumby's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Lázaro Chap managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When ForestFire's Lucas Navarro in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 43rd match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Luisito James's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Cucao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After 45th play minutes Lucas Navarro shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Guaberto Cucao and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Chap to strike the kick off in the second half. Jose Hoyt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tracy Shah in the 70th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tracy Shah in the 71st minute of the match. Tracy Shah hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Tracy Shah. Shaki Conn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Serafo in the 76th minute of play. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When ForestFire's Lucas Navarro in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee ended the match the ForestFire players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
