Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Sarmiento de Resistencia's Man Tas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Man Tas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell. Grant Blacknell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zinon Kazakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Man Tas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Man Tas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grant Blacknell saved Leicester Lions from getting behind. Will Patton charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Will Patton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Will Patton hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Man Tas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şükür Hagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Man Tas scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Blacknell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Man Tas took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grant Blacknell. Grant Blacknell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şükür Hagi to strike the kick off in the second half. Grant Blacknell was a little too slow when Man Tas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-7. Man Tas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grant Blacknell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Patton in the 59th minute of the match. If Henning Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero was substituted for Man Tas. In the 65thth minute of the game Alex Herrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Camron Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Alex Herrero took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Grant Blacknell to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Herrero got free with Grant Blacknell in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Herrero. Leicester Lions's Jack Sharp was substituted for Alexander Cheetham. In the 82nd minute of the match Sarmiento de Resistencia got a corner. Leicester Lions's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogumil Spychalski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henning Martinsson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
