After 2 minutes, Gervasio Chano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sirius Dog and the Picanya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ugaitz Silva got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baldovino Saura. In the 21st minute, Emiliano Oliviero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Naldo Roig, passed just outside the right post. In the 28th minute Sirius Dog were awarded a corner. Gervasio Chano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sirius Dog's Gervasio Chano to fire away a dangerous shot which Naldo Roig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Sirius Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Baumer to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Chano was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Lapurdi charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Lapurdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Lapurdi. 64 minutes into the game, Sirius Dog's Gervasio Chano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Roig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 69 minutes into the match, Gervasio Chano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Roig. Picanya FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Chano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Picanya FC's zone, Gervasio Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Roig came out of the goal and Gervasio Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Sirius Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Baumer to maneuver through the defense. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Chano in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Sirius Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Romano to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Sirius Dog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Romano to maneuver through the defense. Gaskon Gimeno struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jeronimo Millan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picanya FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregory Bermejo got free with Jeronimo Millan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervasio Chano struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Naldo Roig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sirius Dog. Sirius Dog's Jeronimo Millan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Sirius Dog from getting a goal against them. Many of Picanya FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Picanya FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Sirius Dog were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
