In the 21st minute of the match Pogoń Szczecin got a corner. ÇORUM FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Donzel ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇORUM FK's goalkeeper Umut İnceman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Doris kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Norbert Major made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Norbert Major's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umut İnceman was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Major in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umut İnceman saved ÇORUM FK from getting behind. Umut İnceman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norbert Major went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's Stefanos Stefanopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umut İnceman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zula Mentis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, ÇORUM FK's Fikri Sakman tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Norbert Major came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pogoń Szczecin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Major couldn't finish the play. Umut İnceman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Major in the 81st minute of the match. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, ÇORUM FK's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Major came free, but Umut İnceman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
