The A.A FÊNIX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Ugla in the 17th minute of play forced A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Play 2 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, A.A FÊNIX's Bernardo Lehoi got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Boruta came free, but Silvano Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, A.A FÊNIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Arruda to maneuver through the defense. In the 25thth minute of the game Anselmo Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes, Anselmo Dantas made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Marquez in the 28th minute of play. Anselmo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tomás Lucila made a huge save. Tomás Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Fanuco in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Åke Ugla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Lohitzun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Tomás Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Marquez in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Victor Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Lohitzun having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Silver Play 2's Carlos Carrio was substituted for Åke Ugla. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Francesco made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Boruta. Thanks to some nice moves Damazy Boruta could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Silvano Lohitzun however easily saved by the left post. In the 58th minute Anselmo Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Silver Play 2 booed when A.A FÊNIX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Dantas in the 68th minute of play. Bernardo Lehoi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Silver Play 2's Juan Tartalo was substituted for Cesar Baldovino. 80 minutes into the game, Juan Tartalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silver Play 2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A FÊNIX the free kick. After 80 played minutes Silver Play 2 got a freekick which was hit by Juan Tartalo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Carrio in the 82nd minute of play forced A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elvio Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the A.A FÊNIX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Fanuco couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, A.A FÊNIX's goalkeeper Silvano Lohitzun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Boruta. Silvano Lohitzun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. Silvano Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Francesco in the 94th minute of play. Damazy Boruta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Silvano Lohitzun made a huge save. A.A FÊNIX's Silvano Lohitzun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save A.A FÊNIX from getting a goal against them.
