The Silver Play 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Lucila should have stopped the shot. Luis Vázquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Lucila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Luis Vázquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Julian Abalos made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Teodosio Francesco. 32 minutes into the game, Luis Vázquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tomás Lucila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Luis Vázquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Lucila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Teodosio Francesco made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila got control of the ball when Yu Quan Di tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Silver Play 2 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Teodosio Francesco hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Luis Vázquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila got control of the ball when Eduardo Liher tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Quan Di in the 62nd minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Tomás Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes, Damazy Boruta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Play 2 and the Luganeros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yu Quan Di's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomás Lucila firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luganeros AFC's Eliseo Bittor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Lucila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Carrio in the 85th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Carlos Carrio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. Luganeros AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Carrio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Tomás Lucila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Liher's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Yu Quan Di's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Tomás Lucila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 97 minutes, Raphael da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luganeros AFC and the Silver Play 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Luganeros AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
