The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joe Herring blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fanis Geronimidis having to make a save. Fanis Geronimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Herring in the 10th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Silviu Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Herring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Cordeiro in the 27th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belotaurus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Herring was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jerry Lodge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Vianna's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Valencia C.F. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joe Herring made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Herring came free, but Fanis Geronimidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Evren Yezid made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Lodge. Valencia C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Plumber during the 65th minute. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Dario Strazzabosco with Erivaldo Perez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belotaurus FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guillermo Farré was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Valencia C.F.'s corner Guillermo Farré fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fanis Geronimidis quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Novac came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanis Geronimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 86th minute of play. The throw-in from Erivaldo Perez in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valencia C.F.'s Oliver Bean. Belotaurus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Valencia C.F. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
