After 10 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Shane Corrigan. Manuel Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Mon in the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Van Kamp came free, but Manuel Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurino Acarreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Luc Van Hinnendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurino Acarreta in the 20th minute of play. Manuel Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nic Verheijd in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren got control of the ball when Xavies Muñagorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurino Acarreta went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Manuel Loren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Shane Corrigan got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Gau in the 31st minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Volvio Moreno from getting a goal against them. Manuel Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nic Verheijd, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 34 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Carl Van Kamp. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Barrionuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Van Hinnendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Gau in the 37th minute of play. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Van Hinnendael came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Volvio Moreno's Godfredo Gau. But to his dismay, Godfredo Gau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Godfredo Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Van Hinnendael having to interfere. After the first half Volvio Moreno were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Godfredo Gau made the kick off in the second half. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Maurino Acarreta scored to the left of an out of position Luc Van Hinnendael, making the score, 0-3. Bonifacio Elivareo lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurino Acarreta in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Volvio Moreno's Godfredo Gau got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Philip Verhasselt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Loren skillfully saved the ball. Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Van Kamp in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Silverio Barrionuevo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luc Van Hinnendael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 79th minute, Maurino Acarreta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luc Van Hinnendael, passed just outside the right post. After 85 minutes Volvio Moreno's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Philip Verhasselt who took care of the corner kick. Manuel Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Maurino Acarreta came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Volvio Moreno players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
