Luc Van Hinnendael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luc Van Hinnendael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartlomiej Rybak's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartlomiej Rybak in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Van Hinnendael saved FC Bruges from getting behind. Luc Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartlomiej Rybak went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lasse Kroner kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Xavies Muñagorri got a free kick in the 30th minute. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carl Van Kamp hit a great ball. Bartlomiej Rybak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luc Van Hinnendael. FC Bruges's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adriano De Carolis made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Xavies Muñagorri sent off a good shot on target. Bartlomiej Rybak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Bernardo Urtzi got a free kick in the 38th minute. Adriano De Carolis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavies Muñagorri went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Abilio Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 56 in the game by Bartlomiej Rybak from a close distance when the talented Luc Van Hinnendael managed to make a qualified save. FC Bruges's players were relieved. In the 57th minute, Bartlomiej Rybak made a precise shot to the right of Luc Van Hinnendael. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Tiburones Machos's Rosendo Rios was substituted for Bartlomiej Rybak. The supporters of Tiburones Machos booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Urtzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luc Van Hinnendael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rosendo Rios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. Luc Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Rios went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Rios got free with Luc Van Hinnendael in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiburones Machos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franciszek Lerych in the 82nd minute. Tiburones Machos's Gabriel Diegotxe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luc Van Hinnendael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luc Van Hinnendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Rios in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Baggio. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bruges from getting a goal against them. FC Bruges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Baldomero Maxin scored to the left of an out of position Luc Van Hinnendael, making the score, 1-6. In the 94th match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Brogren to maneuver through the defense. Luc Van Hinnendael acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Franciszek Lerych. In the 96th minute, Abilio Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Tiburones Machos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Bruges throughout the match.
