Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Deimantas Satkus came free, but Kacper Tobiáš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Geležinis Vilkas fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Geležinis Vilkas's Deimantas Satkus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kacper Tobiáš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deimantas Satkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geležinis Vilkas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eitautas Ivoška in the 12th minute. When Zenonas Lopeta fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geležinis Vilkas's protests and gave Zenonas Lopeta a yellow card for diving instead. Zenonas Lopeta hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eitautas Ivoška in the 19th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, one of F.C. Sosnowiec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Geležinis Vilkas. Eitautas Ivoška stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kacper Tobiáš. 0-3. Kacper Tobiáš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deimantas Satkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Tobiáš came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Geležinis Vilkas's Deimantas Satkus. But to his dismay, Deimantas Satkus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of F.C. Sosnowiec:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Geležinis Vilkas:s goal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Geležinis Vilkas. Eitautas Ivoška stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kacper Tobiáš. 0-5. After the first half Geležinis Vilkas were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Gabrielius Velička hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidijus Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 55th minute of play. Edin Džeko charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edin Džeko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabrielius Velička kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of F.C. Sosnowiec booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eitautas Ivoška didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidijus Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes, Massem Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Sosnowiec and the Geležinis Vilkas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Massem Mendes hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Geležinis Vilkas's Deimantas Satkus made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kacper Tobiáš was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidijus Merkelis came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Deimantas Satkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geležinis Vilkas's supporters rose to their feet, but Deimantas Satkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kacper Tobiáš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Deimantas Satkus sped through F.C. Sosnowiec's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kacper Tobiáš. Kacper Tobiáš didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deimantas Satkus went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. With a little luck, F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš got control of the ball when Deimantas Satkus tried to sneak it across the goal line. F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deimantas Satkus in the 91st minute of play.
