An unexpectedly hard shot by Deimantas Satkus in the 10th minute of play forced AC Civetta Notturna's goalkeeper Anthony Sacchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Garcia in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Corsi came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Corsi in the 18th minute of the match. Alfredo Pietropaolo made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silas do Vale however managed to control. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Deimantas Satkus took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anthony Sacchi to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute Geležinis Vilkas were awarded a corner. Eitautas Ivoška went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eitautas Ivoška got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anthony Sacchi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anthony Sacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deimantas Satkus in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Emanuele Corsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Merkelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deimantas Satkus struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Anthony Sacchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas. Anthony Sacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deimantas Satkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute of the match Geležinis Vilkas got a corner. AC Civetta Notturna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eitautas Ivoška ran over to the corner to take the kick. Geležinis Vilkas's Léo de Azevedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anthony Sacchi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deimantas Satkus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anthony Sacchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deimantas Satkus's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, AC Civetta Notturna's Keno Dibra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidijus Merkelis. Ovidijus Merkelis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Keno Dibra took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidijus Merkelis. Ovidijus Merkelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Saulius Grapskis came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Geležinis Vilkas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saulius Grapskis couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Deimantas Satkus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthony Sacchi was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keno Dibra got free with Ovidijus Merkelis in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deimantas Satkus might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Sacchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deimantas Satkus ran back to his position shaking his head. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deimantas Satkus during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciccio Nobile hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Eitautas Ivoška shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthony Sacchi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The AC Civetta Notturna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Civetta Notturna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
