Ovidijus Merkelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruperto Salvadore's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Jan Sierocki made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidijus Merkelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Rami came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Tadeo Precioso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deimantas Satkus to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deimantas Satkus in the 56th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Gabrielius Velička. Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün was substituted for Jan Sierocki. A collision led to Geležinis Vilkas getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Deimantas Satkus hit a great ball. Léo de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Deimantas Satkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geležinis Vilkas's supporters rose to their feet, but Deimantas Satkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Nevada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Rami in the 87th minute of play.
