The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. After 19 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofyane Valognes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evtim Kúrdzhev struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Sofyane Valognes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Municipal. Sofyane Valognes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Cassaretto went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 33rdth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatan Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Cassaretto scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sofyane Valognes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavian Garcon to make the kick off. Sofyane Valognes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 52nd minute. From close distance Enrique Cassaretto pressed in the 0-7 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 56 minutes into the game. Evtim Kúrdzhev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sofyane Valognes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Martial Hess put in a rough tackle. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rathmore Lime Tree! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for CD Municipal. Enrique Cassaretto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sofyane Valognes. 0-10. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofyane Valognes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The corner led CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia to fire away a dangerous shot which Sofyane Valognes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christophe Reibel in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofyane Valognes was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Enrique Cassaretto had several of the Rathmore Lime Tree's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. CD Municipal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
