Luis Castillero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cristo Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the C.A.Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Basajaun couldn't finish the play. Luis Castillero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heigo Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute C.A.Independiente were awarded a corner. Bernardino Gonsalve went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.A.Independiente's Øyvind Rovik to fire away a dangerous shot which Luis Castillero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Castillero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Basajaun came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Cristo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Castillero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom-Lukas Queraria, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Kindermans ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flamengo de San Blás's Mats Kindermans was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciriaco Macias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute, Cristo Basajaun made a precise shot to the right of Luis Castillero. Flamengo de San Blás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Felipe Cedeño could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Ciriaco Macias however easily saved by the left post. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mats Kindermans was slow to take the kick. During this time Flamengo de San Blás's players had a chance to rest. After 46 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Silvino. After the first half C.A.Independiente were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Tom-Lukas Queraria came free, but Ciriaco Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Tom-Lukas Queraria notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of C.A.Independiente's Ciriaco Macias. Ciriaco Macias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Luis Castillero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Basajaun. Cristo Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Luis Castillero made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, C.A.Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. Flamengo de San Blás's Luis Castillero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heigo Luiga in the 70th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Leonidas Aizprua. In the 74th minute Wiliam Lozano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Øyvind Rovik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Luis Castillero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Mats Kindermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Basajaun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Luis Castillero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Heigo Luiga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Heigo Luiga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Lozano in the 88th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Ciriaco Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Flamengo de San Blás's Wiliam Lozano, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo de San Blás. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Jaroslaw Psikuta replaced Nereo Frederico. Wiliam Lozano might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Macias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Lozano ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciriaco Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. C.A.Independiente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
