Heigo Luiga started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Heigo Luiga came free, but Christian Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heigo Luiga struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Christian Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heigo Luiga in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Tom Misaki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Misaki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ely was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Independiente the free kick. 16 minutes into the game, one of CE LAJEADENSE RS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for C.A.Independiente. Gavril Bosioc stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Orlan. 0-1. Zhuo Chao Chuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Buford Lim made a huge save. Gavril Bosioc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Orlan having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Misaki in the 26th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buford Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udo Nigula in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Caetano Saad made a precise shot to the right of Buford Lim. C.A.Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Zhuo Chao Chuan took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buford Lim. Buford Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renato Quadros was substituted for Jorge Pires.

Nereo Frederico might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Frederico ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Christian Orlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Buford Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Misaki got free with Christian Orlan in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Øyvind Rovik, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Tom Misaki took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Christian Orlan to make any attempt to save it. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Bater Palma replaced Udo Nigula. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Independiente's Heigo Luiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Orlan. That made the score 2-3 after 79 minutes of play. A collision led to C.A.Independiente getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Heigo Luiga hit a great ball. C.A.Independiente's Ambrosio Ovando was substituted for Øyvind Rovik. In the 85th match minute, C.A.Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heigo Luiga to maneuver through the defense. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iigo in the 86th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Heigo Luiga scored to the left of an out of position Christian Orlan, making the score, 2-4. C.A.Independiente's Jaroslaw Psikuta was substituted for Nereo Frederico. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Ely didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Heigo Luiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Orlan was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the match was over C.A.Independiente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CE LAJEADENSE RS throughout the match.
