In the 31stth minute of the game Udo Nigula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo de San Blás's Luis Castillero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Lozano in the 32nd minute of the match. The corner led Flamengo de San Blás's Gheorghe Hagi to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Orlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuo Chao Chuan came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Pires. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renato Quadros was substituted for Jorge Pires. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Ely charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Ely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Ely didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Luchito Briceño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Orlan was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Flamengo de San Blás supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CE LAJEADENSE RS's performance.
