Trabzon:s Mustafa Hamit Kutlu showed great skill when he stopped Florian Loncki:s penalty. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Dziewulski in the 9th minute. If Elvio Lentovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencer Uluöz charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 19 played minutes, Trabzon's Zaid Sağanalp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miroslaw Setara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trabzon reached it. Leonard Dziewulski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Elvio Lentovskiy came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Trabzon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Lentovskiy couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Zachariasz Polakowski sped through Trabzon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mustafa Hamit Kutlu. After 43 played minutes Srebrny Grom DK got a freekick which was hit by Wit Lech.
