Júnior Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Grisha Dragulev hit a great ball. Júnior Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute of the game Jan Vertonghen made a throw-in which Faustão Diniz played forward. In the 10th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetoslav Hrulev to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svetoslav Hrulev during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetoslav Hrulev to maneuver through the defense. If Júnior Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Leão came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Kuzman Bondzhov. But to his dismay, Kuzman Bondzhov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetoslav Hrulev didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Diniz in the 36th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Matey Trashliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Misericordia EC's Faustão Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Faustão Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Kuzman Bondzhov managed to get in a good position for a shot. DARAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuzman Bondzhov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half DARAS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svetoslav Hrulev was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Kyulafliev to maneuver through the defense. Matey Trashliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Garcia in the 53rd minute of play. When Kuzman Bondzhov came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the DARAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuzman Bondzhov couldn't finish the play. DARAS's Lilcho Chohadzhiev was substituted for Kuzman Bondzhov. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gavril Bratovanov hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Garcia came free, but Matey Trashliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grisha Dragulev kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavril Bratovanov during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Svetoslav Hrulev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Misericordia EC's Jan Vertonghen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gavril Bratovanov, made in the 79th minute of the game. Renan Meira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Léo Leão got control of the ball when Lilcho Chohadzhiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Misericordia EC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing DARAS to win.
