The Misericordia EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Leão should have stopped the shot. Joacim First made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Valdomiro Luz sent off a good shot on target. Guo Ming took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Leão. Léo Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Valdomiro Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Joacim First when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Léo Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Siöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Holger Siöberg in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júnior Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim First having to interfere. When Misericordia EC's Valdomiro Luz in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinhote FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pinhote FC's Joacim First played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Diniz in the 30th minute of play. Valdomiro Luz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Joacim First skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhote FC's zone, Faustão Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim First came out of the goal and Faustão Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Rosen. Valdomiro Luzs short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Joacim First to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joacim First stood somewhat misplaced when Valdomiro Luz came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Misericordia EC's Faustão Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Pinhote FC's Joacim First got control of the ball when Valdomiro Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After 52 minutes, Sérgio Muralhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Misericordia EC and the Pinhote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Muralhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. David Blaine hit a great ball. Jan Vertonghen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Muralhas. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Léo Leão got control of the ball when Loco Martin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Faustão Terra got a free kick in the 67th minute. Holger Siöberg struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Léo Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC. Holger Siöbergs short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Léo Leão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Luz in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Faustão Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Holger Siöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Léo Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Faustão Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Joacim First. Pinhote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Pinhote FC's Holger Siöberg in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Misericordia EC's goalie prevented a goal. The Pinhote FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
