Valdomiro Luz started the match with the kick off. When Valdomiro Luz came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Misericordia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Luz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Iliya Kasabov got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 10 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Iliya Kasabov. DARAS's Vute Baliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Luz in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Diniz in the 15th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vute Baliev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Garcia in the 19th minute of the match. Léo Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 20th minute. Faustão Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustão Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Faustão Terra hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 26th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Léo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vinnie Jones hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Valdomiro Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vute Baliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Zahari Kerekov got a free kick in the 31st minute. Vute Baliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Vertonghen in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Zico Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misericordia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zico Maravilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Misericordia EC's Valdomiro Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vute Baliev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Nedyalko Berberov got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jan Vertonghen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vute Baliev. DARAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdomiro Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vute Baliev having to interfere. The DARAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Misericordia EC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzo Ivanov was the one to do the kick off. Léo Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Gonzo Ivanov got free in front of the goal in the 51st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Léo Leão was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. DARAS's Svetoslav Hrulev got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Svetoslav Hrulev off the ground. In the 54th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svetoslav Hrulev to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Luz. Nedyalko Berberov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Nedyalko Berberov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustão Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vute Baliev having to interfere. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. The supporters of DARAS booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zico Maravilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vute Baliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Garcia in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 70th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Léo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Valdomiro Luz put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vute Baliev. If Faustão Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volodya Biradzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdomiro Luz scored 0-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vute Baliev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vute Baliev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Terra in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the DARAS defense, Júnior Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vute Baliev. The DARAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vute Baliev should have stopped the shot. Sérgio Muralhas hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Misericordia EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
