Eulalio Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Gabrio in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Bonifacio Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Alfredo Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cervezanegra A.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Esteban Eutropio in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Bonifacio Mikelar got a free kick in the 17th minute. Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Gabrio in the 19th minute of play. Eulalio Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Alfredo Gabrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Celedonio Lando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Cherro's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Palacios got free with Celedonio Lando in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celedonio Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Palacios in the 42nd minute. Eulalio Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Joanes. Celedonio Lando came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Rodrigo Palacios. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Palacios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Cervezanegra A.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hugo Joanes hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalkeeper Celedonio Lando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Deportivo Mandiyu were awarded a corner. Pipis Vattimos went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 70th minute, Hugo Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Hugo Joanes got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Cherro in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Lando saved Cervezanegra A.C. from getting behind. A collision led to Cervezanegra A.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mariano Raulo hit a great ball. Deportivo Mandiyu's Rayan MacQueen was substituted for Bonifacio Mikelar. Celedonio Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Benítez in the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cervezanegra A.C.'s Everardo Sotero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eulalio Bastian. That made the score 1-3 after 85 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Everardo Sotero could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Eulalio Bastian however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Benítez in the 90th minute of play forced Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalkeeper Celedonio Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Petruzzi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Guido Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cervezanegra A.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
