The referee ignored Hummerfiskarna's protests and gave André Qvalfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BELAJ BOYS booed when Hummerfiskarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Holger Mattsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner led BELAJ BOYS's Kjell Fribäck to fire away a dangerous shot which Holger Mattsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hummerfiskarna from getting a goal against them. Fabian Gurgul spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hummerfiskarna's goal. Andrea De Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes BELAJ BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Arhenius. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rickard Malmström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hummerfiskarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Malmström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Erik Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Malmström in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Hummerfiskarna were awarded a corner. Rickard Malmström went to the cornerflag to take it. Hummerfiskarna made a substitution. Arnaldo Queirós replaced Andrea De Toro. In the 54th minute of the match Hummerfiskarna got a corner. BELAJ BOYS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rickard Malmström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hummerfiskarna's Bolli Bolla in the 55th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nils-Erik Hermansson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for BELAJ BOYS through an amazing save. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind BELAJ BOYS's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
