When Atlético Municipal's Willie Colon in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Kabiru Rotimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's Kabiru Rotimi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chuan Cintron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Aristides Caldas hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Wilton Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAQUARI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Frank Dusett replaced Willie Colon. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilton Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Dusett in the 52nd minute of the match. Frank Dusett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Salgado made a huge save. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Joakim Felin got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Frank Dusett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Joakim Felin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Gau Resto replaced Oscar De León. TAQUARI FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. TAQUARI FC's Giannis Karagiotis was substituted for Valer Covaliu. Rodolfo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Frank Dusett sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chuan Cintron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Dusetts short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Rodolfo Salgado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Dusett got free with Rodolfo Salgado in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joakim Felin made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético Municipal's Jarkko Tuovinen. Claude Sena took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Salgado. Rodolfo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gau Resto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 94th playminute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atlético Municipal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
