Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ricardo Jenaro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avgustin Yochev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laziali's goalkeeper Avgustin Yochev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute of the match Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a corner. Laziali's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stasio Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute, Emil Wielopolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avgustin Yochev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 13th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Avgustin Yochev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avgustin Yochev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Stasio Bienienda went to the cornerflag to take it. İlhami Akyazıcı was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Primitivo Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Avgustin Yochev made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Darin Gladichev came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avgustin Yochev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhao Sen Yang went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stasio Bienienda in the 29th minute. The corner ended in Mugurel Pandele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laziali's Avgustin Yochev did a great save. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emil Wielopolski fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s protests and gave Emil Wielopolski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Emil Wielopolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kosta Kúnov in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Chiuzbaian saved Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting behind. When Ramiro da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laziali's protests and gave Ramiro da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Avgustin Yochev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stasio Bienienda. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avgustin Yochev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Vitomir Piralkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laziali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. 48 minutes into the match, Laziali's goalkeeper Avgustin Yochev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Wielopolski. In the 48th minute, Emil Wielopolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Rix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Thomas Rix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Sen Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgustin Yochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avgustin Yochev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avgustin Yochev was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laziali's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Wielopolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avgustin Yochev having to make a save. In the 78th minute Emil Wielopolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgustin Yochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Emil Wielopolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avgustin Yochev. Laziali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Wielopolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 82 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro da Silva. After 85 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro da Silva. In the 87th minute Emil Wielopolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avgustin Yochev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emil Wielopolski came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Wielopolski couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Emil Wielopolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Vitomir Piralkov got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
