The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Wilton Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rodolfo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Blech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Pabla Zuniga made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilton Vale immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvano Blech. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After some careless play in the TAQUARI FC defense, Benito Saturnin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Salgado. The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Salgado should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Silvano Blech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Vale in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Wilton Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Silvano Blech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Souto. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Felin made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilton Vale immediately put the ball in play. Wilton Vale scored 4-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Blech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Vende Humo got a freekick which was hit by Benito Saturnin. Silvano Blech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Wilton Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Blech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Higinio Arias replaced Angelito Di Maria. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Erasmo Gaspar replaced Ernani Souto. Geovanni de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Wilton Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Blech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vende Humo's goalkeeper Silvano Blech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Benito Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Wilton Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Benito Saturnin sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Fabio Ubelteso in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard. After 96 minutes of play, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Blech was left in no man's land by his defense there! TAQUARI FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vende Humo for a fine match.
