In the 16th minute Petre Iftode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Salgado saved TAQUARI FC from getting behind. After 18 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Jenaro. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Iftode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Iftode, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Petre Iftode went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Petre Iftode drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper. After 35 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Di Piazza. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernardo Di Piazza kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the game İlhami Akyazıcı made a throw-in which Petre Iftode played forward. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 57th minute of play. If Petre Iftode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Stasio Bienienda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodolfo Salgado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 68 minutes into the game, Grigore Maghiran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAQUARI FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran got a free kick in the 68th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. In the 69th minute, Grigore Maghiran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Wilton Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Chiuzbaian. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilton Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Erasmo Gaspar replaced Ernani Souto. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Iftode in the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wilton Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Chiuzbaian was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 78 minutes, Ricardo Jenaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- and the TAQUARI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilton Vale walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 81 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by İlhami Akyazıcı. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 87th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Rodolfo Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Primitivo Grau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Rodolfo Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Cătălin Tudoran replaced Zhao Sen Yang. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
